Tuesday 6.30 to 9.30pm BST, Hybrid Portraits @ 1st hour & Life Drawing from 7.30pm

This session combines Portrait drawing, self-portraiture, hands, feet at the first hour and Life Drawing Practice at the next 2 hours with a professional model. We may also audition a model at the first hour.

We enjoyed 3 years of Guided classes that have been recorded and available to full members (£20/month), so instead i'll use Mondays for starting new in Person classes or recording more advanced guided session using some of our recorded classes.

The cost is the same as it was before at £6/$8 for anything Live and £10/$12.75 for the 3 hours recording and £20 forFree classes and 3 years of recorded guided classes.

Program:

• 6.30pm: We will draw whoever we like (portraits) and if we have a busy class we could also have our Life Drawing model posing for portraits and close ups to start with (let your people know). If the model cannot make it early or if we have people wanting to audition this will be the time for that. If not then we will draw each others the way we happilly did it for 3 years where you can pin and draw whoever you wish until 7.30pm UK time, so for an hour. This part of the session will take you into one extreme to the other, so that when we start gesture Life Drawing and short poses the effect is X2 better. As you may know the key to Artistic success is being able to/force ourselves/ become better and better at going as far as possible both ways/extremes, "Realistic" and "dynamic" as both help each other. Style comes from finding the right proportion between the two in fact 3 as Line, Form and volume.
• 7.30pm: We will do similar routine everytime, changing it a little to fit our model as well as possible. So we'll start with Moving gesture with repeated poses but not always, 20 to 30 secs poses for 5 mins to capture the essence of a pose and keep your lines fast and confident, then 1 mins poses where our years of guided life Drawing will help you do whatever is needed when starting any drawing, as quickly as possible with more and more assimilation and reflexes acquired. Then 10 mins x2 and 20 mins x2. Exceptionally 20 mins could become 40 mins.
