Frida Kahlo Homage Part I of "Self-Portrait with thorn necklace and hummingbird"

This Monday, the 20th of July 2020, we'll be starting something called Life Drawing Constructivism, by preparing our page or canvas for Zoe's Portrait we'll draw/paint on Thursday the 14th at 7pm. First we'll need to draw The Foliage at the Back, The cat and the monkey. So if you ever want to know a little to a lot about drawing this kind of Life, please have a good go at it anytime between Monday the 13th and Thursday 23rd, all in preparation for the Scary Live Part of Drawing her Portrait for nearly 2 hours with a few 5 mins poses to warm up first and to get the energy flowing. I'll try to be your rock on the day and will audio guide you... As you may know, one of her Artworks, was sold as the most expensive Artwork created by any woman ever and still holds the record. We'll talk about her on Thursday. I chose Zoe as she is pretty much her lookalike with the right makeup and expression. Anyway, please google for any unusual Cat, Monkey and ressemblant foliage and start to get the pencils and colours going leaving space for her portrait...This Artwork is easy to find on google images. Even if only one of you decide to do just that, it would be an awesome beginning to this concept (Not New) where we won't just draw the Human figure but we'll Draw Life in Many forms connected to the Human Form/Anatomy. Don't we also want to draw other amazing subjects such as Animals, plants, flowers...? We say 2pm start, but you may start anytime before or after that... This is a free meetup preparation before the main LIVE session day that I hope you'll enjoy. Cats and monkeys are definitely my two favourite animals I've drawn many many times...Same for Plants, trees and Flowers... Have fun and don't hesitate to ask anything I may be able to help with and if I don't know they i'll Ask someone else and will tell you then. It's always good to learn anything...
